Black Eyed Peas - Meet Me Halfway

“Meet Me Halfway” è il nuovo singolo dei Black Eyed Peas, il terzo estratto dall’album “The E.N.D”. In Italia non è ancora uscito e molto probabilmente non bisserà il grandissimo successo di “I Gotta Feeling”, non che sia più scarso qualitativamente sia chiaro, è solo una questione di orecchiabilità.

La canzone l’ho ascoltata 3 volte in tutto e posso dire che mi ha convinto abbastanza. Il videoclip è un po particolare, molto sul fantasy, molto sul nonsense. Non riesco infatti a capirne il senso, ma forse non l’hanno capito nemmeno i Black Eyed Peas ahaha

Il video è girato dagli stessi registi del primo singolo “Boom Boom Poow” ovvero Mathew Cullen e Mark Kudsi. In questo momento sto cazzeggiando su wikipedia a caccia di info ed ho scoperto lo scopo del video! Wow! In pratica la nostra bella Fergie imita Eva, Ap.de.ap è un beduino, will.i.am è una specie di avventuriero tecnologico e Taboo una specie di astronauta. L’obbiettivo di questi improbabili personaggi è tornare sulla terra. “Meet me halfway” infatti tradotto in italiano vuol dire “Incontrarsi a metà strada”. Come ho fatto a non arrivarci?! Aahahahah vabbè lasciate perdere il video e godetevi la canzone. Non è il mio genere ma sicuramente dei 3 singoli, questo è quello che merita di più.
