Questa canzone che vi voglio recensire oggi è una delle più belle canzoni che ho scoperto lo scorso anno. Bazzicando infatti su Youtube, alla ricerca di versioni live di canzoni più o meno famose di Tarja e Nightwish (il suo ex-gruppo), mi sono imbattuto in questo video e volevo condividere con voi alcune considerazioni.

Innanzitutto da quanto apprendo su un forum dedicato appositamente a Tarja Turunen (http://www.tarja-italy.com), Martin Kesici è un cantante tedesco pressochè sconosciuto che tramite un programma televisivo stile X-Factor, vinse come premio un duetto con un’artista a sua scelta. Scelse appunto Tarja. Ottima scelta aggiungerei. Martin dimostra di avere un’ottima voce, altro che la pseudocassiera della Crai.

Riguardo a Tarja Turunen che posso dire? E’ semplicemente la mia voce femminile preferita. Trasmette emozioni uniche, specie nelle perfomance live. La separazione dai Nightwish è stata meno traumatica di quanto ipotizzato inizialmente dai mass-media. “I Walk Alone” ne è la prova.

Il testo di questa canzone comunque parla principalmente d’amore ed il video è girato in un contesto quasi fiabesco. Buone anche le qualità recitative di entrambi.
